I obtained my baccalaureate, B.Tech and masters M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (Chennai) and Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut in Applied Mechanics specializing in thermal-fluid sciences. I am a licensed Professional Engineer, PE in the state of South Carolina, USA for over 20 years. I had been an adjunct faculty at the University of Connecticut and had worked as Lead Engineer, Senior Engineer and Principal Engineer in United Technologies, Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, General Electric and Westinghouse. I have authored ten technical papers in various international and national journals and currently a member of ASME.
